I’m passionate about disrupting the status quo and building World transforming companies.

Currently, I’m the co-founder at Meru Health, a company that is on a mission to improve the lives of people living with depression. Also, I’m working on putting the final touches to a book about customer development called The Path to Product/Market Fit. The Path to Product/Market Fit is a hands-on book about customer development. It is based on tens of interviews with startup founders. For the very first time, you are able to get direct access into practices founders have used in customer development.

I am MSc of Information Networks from Aalto University. Between 2013 and 2015 I worked at Open Ocean Capital, one of the top venture capital companies in Finland. I helped Open Ocean Capital to find new disruptive technology companies from Europe.

During the Spring and Summer of 2012 and 2013, I worked at Mendor, a cutting edge health care startup from Finland. In 2013, I led customer acquisition and development of Mendor Balance diabetes management platform. Also, I helped our management team to create a value proposition and a business model for Mendor balance. The year before, I led Mendor’s Social Media efforts and helped the company to launch Mendor Discreet blood glucose meter in China and Baltic region.

In 2012 and 2011 I was really actively involved in Aaltoes that is the most active entrepreneurship society in Europe. During these years, I organized over forty events ranging from keynotes and networking events to bigger campaigns. My greatest achievement at Aaltoes was leading National Day for Failure campaign. The campaign was built in three months and it reached over fourth of the Finnish population. (Check out My Projects section to learn more.) Also, I was responsible for promoting Startup Sauna accelerator & Slush conference and attended technology conferences and events around the globe.

My best qualities are project management skills, ability to solve problems and turn ideas into reality. In addition, I love to travel and experience new cultures.
